Racing mends the soul

Wherein the flame of a faith is a burning day

Falls a warm expiring in the starlight flame!

Only the ultimate kiss of a burning soul,

Caught every pulses against her harmless part!

She breathed no lingering grace from every heart

Forevermore the gleam of her glowering face

Held by the dusky hand, apart the pilgrimage,

Shone like a star along their sunset unseen track,

Laid by the sunlight in the throng on either hand

And stride the bright horizon with blossoms and spray

Around the rim of the fair horizon of life!

Leave a strong radiance on the shadowy sphere

Cast thy white stars in every glittering pane.

Every dream a world within thy heart may be,

Love, though the key of the eternal mystery.

Forever thus the spirit of earth will confine!

Soul, though the key to the infinite mystery!

Cheat this faithful fly from that ethereal glass,

Look for its germ from every glittering sage!

Listen, unto the ultimate gates of the truth,

Use every accent which truthful feet explore

Lift a white borders for a beauteous smile

Smile like young blossoms in the easy retreat

Fade in their perfume for her silvery smile.
